Sedan sade David till Israels hela församling: "Om I så finnen för gott, och om detta är från HERREN, vår Gud, så låt oss sända bud åt alla håll till våra övriga bröder i alla Israels landsändar, och därjämte till prästerna och leviterna i de städer kring vilka de hava sina utmarker, att de må församla sig till oss;
