21. Men Rehabeam, Salomos son, var konung i Juda. Fyrtioett år gammal var Rehabeam, när han blev konung, och han regerade sjutton år i Jerusalem, den stad som HERREN hade utvalt ur alla Israels stammar, till att där fästa sitt namn. Hans moder hette Naama, ammonitiskan.
