6. Men till kainéerna lät Saul säga: "Skiljen eder från amalekiterna och dragen ned, för att jag icke må utrota eder tillsammans med dem. I bevisaden ju barmhärtighet mot alla Israels barn, när de drogo ut ur Egypten." Då skilde sig kainéerna från amalekiterna.
