27. Då tog han sin förstfödde son, den som skulle bliva konung efter honom, och offrade denne på muren till ett brännoffer. Då drabbades Israel av svår hemsökelse, så att de måste bryta upp och lämna honom i fred och vända tillbaka till sitt land igen.
