17. In David reče Bogu: Nisem li jaz velel, naj se sešteje ljudstvo? Jaz sem tisti, ki sem grešil in zelo krivično ravnal, te ovce pa, kaj so storili? Roka tvoja, prosim, o GOSPOD, Bog moj, bodi zoper mene in zoper očeta mojega hišo, nikar zoper tvoje ljudstvo, da ga tepe!
