9. Primeri se pa, da sreča Absalom hlapce Davidove. In Absalom je jezdil na mezgu svojem, in mezg je prišel pod debele veje košatega hrasta, in Absalomu je obtičala glava na hrastu, da je visel med nebom in zemljo, kajti mezg je izpod njega zdirjal.
