23. Vendar pa ni hotel kreniti od njega; zato ga Abner udari z zadnjim koncem sulice v trebuh, da mu je pogledala sulica odzadaj, in pade ondi in umrje na tistem mestu. In kdorkoli je prišel na mesto, kjer je Asahel padel in umrl, se je ustavil.
