17. Ali Abisaj, sin Zervijin, mu je prišel v pomoč in je udaril Filistejca ter ga ubil. Tedaj so prisegli Davidu možje njegovi, rekoč: Nikdar več ne pojdeš z nami v boj, da ne ugasneš svetila Izraelu.
