2. Porazil je tudi Moabce in jih premeril z vrvjo, ko jih je dal položiti na tla, in po dve vrvi jih je odmeril v smrt, po eno celo vrv pa, da žive. Tako so Moabci postali podložni Davidu in so mu prinašali darove.
