1. Asafov žalm. Vstáva Boh v zhromaždení Božom, uprostred bohov koná súd.
  
2. „Dokedy ešte chcete súdiť nespravodlivo a nadržiavať hriešnikom?
  
3. Prisúďte právo bedárom a sirotám, spravodlivosť vymáhajte poníženým a chudobným.
  
4. Ratujte chudobného a núdzneho vysloboďte z rúk hriešnika…“
  
5. Nemajú múdrosti ani rozumu, tápu v temnotách; hýbu sa všetky základy zeme.
  
6. I povedal som: „Ste bohmi, všetci ste synmi Najvyššieho.“
  
7. Ale aj vy, ako každý človek, umriete, padnete ako každý velikáš.
  
8. Vstaň, Bože, a súď zem, lebo všetky národy sú tvojím dedičstvom.
