9. Na kwa bahati Absalomu akakutana na watumishi wa Daudi. Naye Absalomu alikuwa amepanda nyumbu wake, na yule nyumbu akapita chini ya matawi manene ya mwaloni mkubwa, hata kichwa chake kikakwama katika mwaloni huo, akanyakuliwa juu kati ya mbingu na nchi; na yule nyumbu aliyekuwa chini yake akaenda mbele.
