28. Siku hiyo Yoshua akautwaa mji wa Makeda, akaupiga kwa makali ya upanga, na mfalme wake; akawaangamiza kabisa na wote pia waliokuwamo ndani yake, hakumwacha hata mmoja aliyesalia; naye akamfanyia huyo mfalme wa Makeda kama alivyomfanyia huyo mfalme wa Yeriko.
