1. Mpumbavu amesema moyoni, Hakuna Mungu; Wameharibu matendo yao na kuyafanya chukizo, Hakuna atendaye mema.
  
2. Toka mbinguni Bwana aliwachungulia wanadamu, Aone kama yuko mtu mwenye akili, Amtafutaye Mungu.
  
3. Wote wamepotoka, wameoza wote pamoja, Hakuna atendaye mema, La! Hata mmoja.
  
4. Je! Wote wafanyao maovu hawajui? Walao watu wangu kama walavyo mkate, Hawamwiti Bwana.
  
5. Hapo ndipo walipoingiwa na hofu nyingi, Maana Mungu yupo pamoja na kizazi cha haki.
  
6. Mnalitia aibu shauri la mtu mnyonge, Bali Bwana ndiye aliye kimbilio lake.
  
7. Laiti wokovu wa Israeli utoke katika Sayuni! Bwana awarudishapo wafungwa wa watu wake; Yakobo atashangilia, Israeli atafurahi.
