9. At si Gedalias na anak ni Ahicam na anak ni Saphan, ay sumumpa sa kanila at sa kanilang mga lalake, na sinasabi, Huwag kayong mangatakot na magsipaglingkod sa mga Caldeo; kayo'y magsitahan sa lupain, at magsipaglingkod sa hari sa Babilonia, at ikabubuti ninyo.
