3. அப்படியே இஸ்வேலின் மூப்பரெல்லாரும் எப்ரோனிலே ராஜாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்; தாவீது எப்ரோனிலே கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அவர்களோடு உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணிக்கொண்டபின்பு, கர்த்தர் சாமுவேலைக்கொண்டு சொன்ன வார்த்தையின்படியே அவர்கள் தாவீதை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்கள்.
