18. பின்பு ராஜாவாகிய ரெகொபெயாம் பகுதிவிசாரிப்புக்காரனாகிய அதோராமை அனுப்பினான்; இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறிந்து கொன்றார்கள்; அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய ரெகொபெயாம் தீவிரமாய் இரதத்தின்மேல் ஏறி, எருசலேமுக்கு ஓடிப்போனான்.
