5. பின்பு தாவீது எழுந்து, சவுல் பாளயமிறங்கின இடத்திற்குப்போய், சவுலும் நேரின் குமாரனாகிய அப்னேர் என்னும் அவன் படைத்தலைவனும் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற இடத்தைப் பார்த்தான்; சவுல் இரதங்களிலிருக்கிற இடத்திலே படுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்; ஜனங்கள் அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
