2. ஒருநாள் சாயங்காலத்தில் தாவீது தன் படுக்கையிலிருந்து எழுந்து, அரமனை உப்பரிகையின்மேல் உலாத்திக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது, ஸ்நானம்பண்ணுகிற ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை உப்பரிகையின் மேலிருந்து கண்டான்; அந்த ஸ்திரீ வெகு சௌந்தரவதியாயிருந்தாள்.
