33. அப்பொழுதுராஜா மிகவும் கலங்கி, கெவுனிவாசலின் மேல்வீட்டிற்குள் ஏறிப்போய் அழுதான்; அவன் ஏறிப்போகையில்: என் மகனாகிய அப்சலோமே, என் மகனே, என் மகனாகிய அப்சலோமே நான் உனக்குப்பதிலாகச் செத்தேனானால் நலமாயிருக்கும். அப்சலோமே, என் மகனே, என்று சொல்லி அழுதான்.
