21. அந்நாட்களில் மொர்தெகாய் ராஜாவின் அரமனை வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறபோது, வாசல்காக்கிற ராஜாவின் இரண்டு பிரதானிகளாகிய பிக்தானும் தேரேசும் வர்மம் வைத்து, ராஜாவாகிய அகாஸ்வேருவின்மேல் கைபோட வகைதேடினார்கள்.
