28. அந்நாளிலே யோசுவா மக்கெதாவைப் பிடித்து, அதைப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்து, அதின் ராஜாவையும் அதிலுள்ள மனுஷராகிய சகல நரஜீவன்களையும், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல், சங்காரம்பண்ணி, எரிகோவின் ராஜாவுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல, மக்கெதாவின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்தான்.
