2. அப்பொழுது யோசுவா சகலஜனங்களையும் நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: பூர்வத்திலே உங்கள் பிதாக்களாகிய ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் நாகோருக்கும் தகப்பனான தேராகு நதிக்கு அப்புறத்திலே குடியிருந்தபோது அவர்கள் வேறே தேவர்களைச் சேவித்தார்கள்
