16. மேலேயிருந்து ஓடிவருகிற தண்ணீர் நின்று சார்தானுக்கடுத்த ஆதாம் ஊர் வரைக்கும் ஒரு குவியலாகக் குவிந்தது; உப்புக்கடல் என்னும் சமனான வெளியின் கடலுக்கு ஓடிவருகிற தண்ணீர் பிரிந்து ஓடிற்று; அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் எரிகோவுக்கு எதிரே கடந்துபோனார்கள்.
