17. మూడు దినములైన తరువాత అతడు యూదులలో ముఖ్యులైనవారిని తనయొద్దకు పిలిపించెను. వారు కూడి వచ్చినప్పుడతడుసహోదరులారా, నేను మన ప్రజలకైనను పితరుల ఆచారములకైనను ప్రతికూలమైనది ఏదియు చేయకపోయినను, యెరూషలేములోనుండి రోమీయుల చేతికి నేను ఖైదీగా అప్పగించబడితిని.
