24. పిలాతు అల్లరి ఎక్కువగు చున్నదే గాని తనవలన ప్రయోజనమేమియు లేదని గ్రహించి, నీళ్లు తీసికొని జనసమూహము ఎదుట చేతులు కడుగుకొనిఈ నీతిమంతుని రక్తమునుగూర్చి నేను నిరప రాధిని, మీరే చూచుకొనుడని చెప్పెను.
