8. มีทแกล้วทหารและผู้ชำนาญศึกจากคนกาดหนีเข้าไปหาดาวิด ณ ที่กำบังเข้มแข็งในถิ่นทุรกันดาร เขาชำนาญโล่และดั้ง ผู้ซึ่งหน้าของเขาเหมือนหน้าสิงโต และผู้ซึ่งรวดเร็วเหมือนละมั่งบนภูเขา
