15. และพระเจ้าทรงใช้ทูตสวรรค์ไปยังเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อจะทำลายเสีย แต่เมื่อท่านจะลงมือทำลาย พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงทอดพระเนตร และพระองค์ทรงกลับพระทัยในเหตุร้ายนั้น และพระองค์ตรัสกับทูตสวรรค์ผู้ทำลายนั้นว่า "พอแล้ว ยับยั้งมือของเจ้าได้" ส่วนทูตสวรรค์ของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็กำลังยืนอยู่ที่ลานนวดข้าวของโอรนันคนเยบุส
