22. และดาวิดตรัสกับโอรนันว่า "จงให้ที่ลานนวดข้าวแก่เราเถิด เพื่อเราจะสร้างแท่นบูชาถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์บนนั้น จงให้แก่เราตามราคาเต็ม เพื่อว่าโรคระบาดนั้นจะได้ระงับเสียจากประชาชน"
