4. และอยู่มาเมื่อกษัตริย์เยโรโบอัมทรงสดับคำกล่าวของคนของพระเจ้า ซึ่งร้องกล่าวโทษแท่นนั้นที่เบธเอล พระองค์ก็เหยียดพระหัตถ์ออกจากที่แท่น กล่าวว่า "จงจับเขาไว้" และพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ซึ่งเหยียดออกต่อเขานั้นก็เหี่ยวแห้งไป พระองค์จะชักกลับเข้าหาตัวอีกก็ไม่ได้
