6. และกษัตริย์ตรัสกับคนของพระเจ้าว่า "จงวิงวอนขอพระกรุณาแห่งพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ขอจงอธิษฐานเพื่อข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะชักมือกลับเข้าหาตัวได้อีก" และคนของพระเจ้าก็วิงวอนต่อพระเยโฮวาห์ และกษัตริย์ก็ทรงชักพระหัตถ์กลับเข้าหาพระองค์ได้อีกและเป็นเหมือนเดิม
