26. เขาทั้งหลายก็เอาวัวผู้ที่เขานำมาให้และเขาทั้งหลายก็จัดเตรียมและร้องออกพระนามพระบาอัล ตั้งแต่เวลาเช้าจนเที่ยงกล่าวว่า "ข้าแต่พระบาอัล ขอสดับพวกข้าพเจ้าเถิด" แต่ก็ไม่มีเสียงและไม่มีใครตอบ และเขาก็โขยกเขยกอยู่รอบแท่นซึ่งเขาได้สร้างขึ้นนั้น
