26. ส่วนอาบียาธาร์ปุโรหิตนั้น กษัตริย์รับสั่งว่า "จงไปอยู่ที่อานาโธท ไปสู่ไร่นาของเจ้า เพราะเจ้าสมควรที่จะตาย แต่ในเวลานี้เราจะไม่ประหารชีวิตเจ้า เพราะว่าเจ้าหามหีบขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าไปข้างหน้าดาวิดราชบิดาของเรา และเพราะเจ้าได้เข้าส่วนในบรรดาความทุกข์ใจของราชบิดาเรา"
