24. ซามูเอลจึงกล่าวแก่ประชาชนทั้งปวงว่า "ท่านเห็นผู้ที่พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเลือกไว้แล้วหรือ ในท่ามกลางประชาชนไม่มีใครเหมือนท่าน" และประชาชนจึงร้องเสียงดังว่า "ขอกษัตริย์ทรงพระเจริญ"
