34. และซาอูลตรัสว่า "ท่านจงกระจัดกระจายกันไปท่ามกลางพวกพลและบอกเขาว่า `ให้ทุกคนนำวัวหรือแกะของตัวมาฆ่าเสียที่นี่แล้วรับประทาน อย่ากระทำบาปต่อพระเยโฮวาห์ด้วยรับประทานพร้อมกับเลือด'" คืนนั้นทุกคนก็นำวัวมาและฆ่าเสียที่นั่น
