6. และซาอูลตรัสแก่คนเคไนต์ว่า "ไปเถิด จงแยกไปเสีย ลงไปเสียจากคนอามาเลข เกรงว่าเราจะทำลายพวกท่านไปพร้อมกับเขา เพราะท่านทั้งหลายได้แสดงความเมตตาต่อคนอิสราเอลทั้งหลายเมื่อเขายกออกมาจากอียิปต์" ดังนั้นคนเคไนต์ก็แยกออกไปจากคนอามาเลข
