6. ดังนั้นปุโรหิตจึงมอบขนมปังบริสุทธิ์ให้แก่ดาวิด เพราะที่นั่นไม่มีขนมปังอื่นนอกจากขนมปังหน้าพระพักตร์ ซึ่งเก็บมาจากหน้าพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อวางขนมปังใหม่ในวันที่เก็บเอาขนมปังเก่านั้นออกไป
