9. `ถ้าเหตุชั่วร้ายขึ้นมาเหนือข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย จะเป็นดาบ การพิพากษา หรือโรคระบาด หรือการกันดารอาหาร ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะยืนอยู่ต่อหน้าพระนิเวศนี้ และต่อพระพักตร์พระองค์ (เพราะพระนามของพระองค์อยู่ในพระนิเวศนี้) และร้องทูลต่อพระองค์ในความทุกข์ใจของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย และพระองค์จะทรงฟังและช่วยให้รอด'
