17. และพระองค์ทรงพระอักษรหมิ่นประมาทพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล และตรัสทับถมพระองค์ว่า "พระของบรรดาประชาชาติแห่งประเทศทั้งหลายมิได้ช่วยประชาชนของตนให้พ้นจากมือของเราฉันใด พระเจ้าของเฮเซคียาห์ก็จะไม่ช่วยประชาชนของตนให้พ้นจากมือของเราฉันนั้น"
