26. เพราะฉะนั้นมีผู้ไปทูลกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียว่า "ประชาชาติซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงพาเอาไปให้อยู่ในหัวเมืองสะมาเรียนั้นไม่รู้ลักษณะของพระเจ้าของแผ่นดินนั้น ฉะนั้นพระองค์จึงส่งสิงโตมาท่ามกลางเขา และดูเถิด สิงโตนั้นได้ฆ่าเขาเสีย เพราะเขาไม่รู้พระลักษณะแห่งพระเจ้าของแผ่นดินนั้น"
