14. และเฮเซคียาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ทรงใช้ให้ไปทูลกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียที่เมืองลาคีชว่า "ข้าพเจ้าได้กระทำผิด ขอถอนทัพไปเสียจากข้าพเจ้า ท่านจะปรับสักเท่าใด ข้าพเจ้าจะยอมทั้งสิ้น" และกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียได้เรียกร้องเอาเงินสามร้อยตะลันต์ และทองคำสามสิบตะลันต์ จากเฮเซคียาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์
