15. ยิ่งกว่านั้นอีกแท่นบูชาที่เบธเอล ปูชนียสถานสูงซึ่งเยโรโบอัมบุตรชายเนบัทได้ตั้งไว้ ผู้ซึ่งกระทำให้อิสราเอลทำบาปด้วย พระองค์ทรงรื้อแท่นบูชากับปูชนียสถานสูงนั้นลงและทรงเผาปูชนียสถานสูงนั้น บดให้เป็นผงคลีและพระองค์ทรงเผาเสารูปเคารพเสียด้วย
