3. และกษัตริย์ทรงประทับยืนข้างเสา และทรงกระทำพันธสัญญาต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ว่า จะดำเนินตามพระเยโฮวาห์ และรักษาพระบัญญัติ พระโอวาทและกฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ด้วยสุดพระจิตสุดพระทัยของพระองค์ จะปฏิบัติตามถ้อยคำของพันธสัญญานี้ ซึ่งเขียนไว้ในหนังสือนี้ และประชาชนทั้งปวงก็เข้าส่วนในพันธสัญญานั้น
