31. ทรงควบคุมประชาชนที่อยู่ในเมืองนั้นให้ทำงานด้วยเลื่อย คราดเหล็กและขวานเหล็กและบังคับให้ทำงานที่เตาเผาอิฐ ได้ทรงกระทำเช่นนี้แก่บรรดาหัวเมืองของคนอัมโมนทั่วไป แล้วดาวิดก็เสด็จกลับไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็มพร้อมกับพลทั้งสิ้น
