34. แต่ถ้าเจ้ากลับเข้าไปในเมืองและกล่าวกับอับซาโลมว่า `ข้าแต่กษัตริย์ ข้าพระองค์ขอถวายตัวเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ดังที่ข้าพระองค์เป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระราชบิดาของพระองค์มาแต่กาลก่อนฉันใด ข้าพระองค์ขอเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ฉันนั้น' แล้วเจ้าจะกระทำให้คำปรึกษาของอาหิโธเฟลพ่ายแพ้ไปเพื่อเห็นแก่เรา
