21. และอาราวนาห์กราบทูลว่า "ไฉนกษัตริย์เจ้านายของข้าพระองค์จึงเสด็จมาหาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์" ดาวิดตรัสว่า "มาซื้อลานนวดข้าวจากท่าน เพื่อจะสร้างแท่นบูชาถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อโรคร้ายจะได้ระงับเสียจากประชาชน"
