2. ในอดีตเมื่อซาอูลเป็นกษัตริย์ปกครองเหนือเหล่าข้าพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้นำอิสราเอลออกไปและเข้ามา และพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสแก่พระองค์ว่า `เจ้าจะเลี้ยงดูอิสราเอลประชาชนของเรา และเจ้าจะเป็นเจ้าเหนือคนอิสราเอล'"
