21. และดาวิดตรัสตอบมีคาลว่า "เป็นงานที่ถวายต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์ผู้ทรงเลือกเราไว้แทนเสด็จพ่อของเจ้า และแทนราชวงศ์ทั้งสิ้นของพระองค์ท่าน ทรงแต่งตั้งให้เราเป็นเจ้าเหนืออิสราเอลประชาชนของพระเยโฮวาห์ และเราจึงจะร่าเริงต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์
