14. และพระองค์ทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมขึ้นเหนือเมืองเอโดม พระองค์ทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมในเอโดมทั่วไปหมด และคนเอโดมทั้งสิ้นจึงเป็นพลไพร่ของดาวิด และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงประทานชัยชนะแก่ดาวิดไม่ว่าจะเสด็จไปรบ ณ ที่ใด
