46. แล้วเปาโลกับบารนาบัสมีใจกล้า ได้กล่าวว่า "จำเป็นที่จะต้องกล่าวพระวจนะของพระเจ้าให้ท่านทั้งหลายฟังก่อน แต่เมื่อท่านทั้งหลายปัดเสีย และตัดสินว่าตนไม่สมควรที่จะได้ชีวิตนิรันดร์ ดูเถิด พวกเราจะบ่ายหน้าไปหาคนต่างชาติ
