30. ท่านเป็นศาสดาพยากรณ์และทราบว่าพระเจ้าตรัสสัญญาไว้แก่ท่านด้วยพระปฏิญาณว่า พระองค์จะทรงประทานผู้หนึ่งจากบั้นเอวของท่าน และตามเนื้อหนังนั้น พระองค์จะทรงยกพระคริสต์ให้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งของท่าน
